A lake is ever calm , sitting or laying gently and silent in the nature. No one can disturb it.
Surely animals and such can create dimples in the water surface but the majority of the water stays just where it is.
It has been there for decades, or even centuries, and it will not move anything in the next centuries to come.
You can try to scare the water, chase if, or catch it. But despite a short portion of the lake might be scared, captured or chased, the vast majority will just look at you and wonder how stupid you look for even trying it.
So next time you come across a lake, take a look, sit down in the shadow, maybe jump in to get refreshed and surround yourself by water. But get relaxed as well as water is too. Water will give you the example that you need on a beautiful day.
Take your time, don’t rush, don’t be stressed. Cause water in a lake is never stressed or rushed.
